Note: Most starter batteries can’t handle the continuous 58A (@12V) draw in Turbo mode. Use a LiFePO₄ battery with a 100A+ BMS or a 1000W+ AC-to-DC converter connected to your power station’s AC output for stable voltage and reliable, worry-free comfort.

Also fit standard 14.1 x 14.1 inch rooftop cutouts, ideal for most RVs, vans and campers.
Installed on our new Tracked Lift 313, made a mount and a guard , it works great. Thinking about installing on a few more of our equipment
We’ve been using the Outequipro AC in our vintage Winnebago for about a year now, and it has honestly become one of the most useful upgrades we’ve added.
Our Winnebago currently does not have a working factory heater, so having a unit that can help with both cooling and heat has been a huge deal for us. It is one thing to have air conditioning in an old camper, but being able to stay warm when the temperature drops has made the Winnebago much more usable.
We really put it to the test during our last race. That night, the temperature dropped down to 41 degrees, and even without a working heater in the Winnie, we were more than comfortable inside. That alone made us appreciate the Outequipro even more.
After a full year of use, it has been reliable, easy to use, and a big help on race weekends, road trips, and long days at events. These old Winnebagos have a ton of character, but they do not always have modern comfort. The Outequipro has helped bridge that gap without taking away from what we love about the vintage camper.
For anyone with an older RV, van, camper, or vintage motorhome looking for a way to make it more comfortable in both hot and chilly weather, the Outequipro AC is definitely worth considering. After a year of real-world use in our vintage Winnebago, we’re very happy with it.
My summer ride is a 1985 Volkswagon Vanagon Westfalia camper. I live on the east coast of Canada and have traveled out to Vancouver and across the United States. My biggest challenge has always been the lack of air conditioning. There aren’t many options for an older vehicle that doesn’t have factory AC.
After suffering in the heat for several years I finally came across the OutEquipPro 12Volt unit. The reviews were good, but as an older, retired guy, I had lots of questions. I sent an email one evening and was surprised to find a response in my in-box the very next morning! I went back and forth a few times and after all my questions were answered I felt comfortable ordering the unit which arrived quickly.
In the meantime I ran across an incredible YouTube video by VW Jawbreaker that showed how to install the OutEquipPro AC in an old VW bus. That really helped a lot with my install. I already had a solar system in my van, but added a dc to dc charger.
I must say I am totally blown away at how my OutEquipPro AC unit is working. It cools down my Vanagon easily, while driving or parked, and is very efficient in terms of power draw. The heater functions nicely too, although I haven’t used it as much as the AC.
I really like the low profile of the roof top component. Unlike the boxy style of other AC units, the OutEquipPro is streamlined and looks like it belongs on the Vanagon.
I am impressed with everything about the OutEquipPro 12V air conditioner. But what really swung the deal for me was the quick, professional and courteous responses I got from OutEquipPro. I prefer to buy products from companies either in Canada or from our good friends in the United States and I know if I ever have issues, concerns or questions, the folks from OutEquipPro will be there for me.
If you have an older VW camper or any other campervan, I would highly recommend the OutEquipPro 12V AC system. My Vanagon is one of the coolest rigs on the road, but it is now a lot cooler thanks to OutEquipPro!

I have a 2022 Thor Tellaro 20A, recently upgraded my two 100Ah AGM batteries to two 320Ah lithium ion phosphate batteries, and replaced the 110v ac air conditioner with OutEquip 12v DC low profile air conditioner with heating. I am very happy with this A/C unit and like to share something with you.
1. The low profile does not only lower the van height, but also makes the van looking better outside and inside , see the pictures.
2. It’s much quieter than the old unit. The fan speed is from 0 to 5, while the old one only has two speeds and it’s loud even using low speed.
3. It draws power from ~15 to 49 amp, depending on the mode (sleeping, eco, and turbo). Now we can use the unit during boondocks in cold or hot weather.
4. Multiple control interfaces, using the app via Bluetooth, remote control, and directly on the indoor panel. This makes the user very convenient.
5. The installation was very straightforward following the installation instructions. I route the 6 AWG cable through returning air duct, between the ceiling and roof, and then go through the space by the passenger side rear door, see the red line on one of the pictures.
