How to Make a Payment Using Credit Card

If you are experiencing difficulties making a payment with your credit card, there are several steps you can take to ensure a successful transaction. Here's what you need to know:

1. Is Your Credit Card Enabled for International Transactions and 3D Secure?

You need to contact your card issuer/bank (their number is usually on the back of your card) to ensure your credit card is enabled for international transactions, as we process payments through the European payment service provider, Oceanpayment.

2. Understanding 3D Secure Verification

Due to European regulations, online payments require the use of 3D Secure technology. If the verification is not executed, the purchase will be denied.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure (3DS) is an additional layer of fraud protection for credit card purchases. It requires customers to complete an extra step during the purchase. This step could involve being redirected to the bank's website to enter a password or receiving a verification code on your mobile phone. It is similar to two-factor authentication.

3. Redirected to a Verification Code Page?

If you are redirected to a page asking for a verification code sent to your mobile phone, please note this is part of the bank's authentication process. Banks have their own methods of verifying potential fraud, using the phone number in their records.

4. Troubleshooting Browser and Network Issues

Your browser's cache/cookies, security settings, and network issues on your computer might prevent your order page from correctly redirecting to the bank/credit card website. To resolve such issues, try the following:

  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
  • Use your browser's incognito mode.
  • Use a different browser or computer.

5. No Pending Transactions from outequippro?

If your bank/credit card company says there are no pending transactions, charges, or activities from any source, it means outequippro was blocked before attempting to submit the charge. This could be due to the absence of two-factor authentication or 3D Secure not being enabled. The bank will not see the charge.

How to Make a Payment via PayPal

If you have a PayPal account, you can pay directly by logging into your PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still make a payment using your credit card through PayPal. PayPal accepts major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Maestro.
